During the 2022 Liberal Party of Canada (British Columbia) Convention, elections will be held for the LPC(BC) Board and the B.C. Executive of each Commission. The LPC(BC) Board of Directors is a group of dedicated volunteers supporting the Liberal Party’s vital democratic engagement work with our supporters and Registered Liberals across British Columbia to ensure that we continue growing an open, inclusive, and innovative political movement. The LPC(BC) Board is responsible for implementing our election readiness program in British Columbia. The board also carries out policy consultation and development, as well as hosts conventions and other special events. The four commissions are the Indigenous Peoples’ Commission, the Women’s Commission, the Seniors’ Commission, and the Young Liberals. Commissions add vitality and diverse perspectives to the Liberal Party and provide a forum for engagement and representation of a demographic group of Registered Liberals. Applications are now closed to stand as a candidate for election to the LPC(BC) Board or a B.C. Commission Executive. Russil Wvong has been appointed as the Convention Returning Officer for the 2022 Liberal Party of Canada (British Columbia) Convention.
